3 Rules for fab hair over 30
3 rules for fab hair over 30
(ARA) - Think fine lines and wrinkles add years to your appearance? You may be overlooking an even more obvious age-accelerator: your hair.
Beauty experts agree, nothing makes you look older than having "old" hair. With that in mind, here are 3 rules for hair that's "forever young."
Rule No. 1 -- get the right cut
"Don't go too trendy, but don't feel like you have to resign yourself to a super-short cut, either," says 3-time North American Hair Stylist Award-winner Dusty Simington. "It's about finding the right style for your face."
Simington should know. In addition to being the owner of the exclusive Salon Gregorie's in Newport Beach, Calif., he is the spokesperson for Kronos, the first-ever line of anti-aging hair care that has been clinically proven to revive the youthful qualities of body, bounce, shine, volume and elasticity.
His suggestions? Soft layers and side-swept bangs to lend a fun, youthful vibe. If you have fine hair, cut it often to keep the ends full and thick.
Rule No. 2 -- choose the right color
Whether you get your hair professionally colored or do it yourself, here are a few age-minimizers to keep in mind:
Choose a color that works with your skin tone. Going too light or too dark can make you look washed out.
Avoid solid blocks of color. Brighten and add brilliance by using softer highlights around your face and darker shades toward the back.
When choosing highlights, select shades that reflect light. Hints of gold and flashes of red indicate youthfulness, but ashy blonde comes off looking downright drab.
Rule No. 3 -- use the right products
Just as glowing skin makes you look young, so does shiny hair. Go easy on sprays, pomades and other products that can dull that shine. Condition daily, and opt for products that are sulfate-free and specifically designed to address the problems of aging hair.
Kronos, the line represented by Simington, is being called "Botox for Hair" because it uses a revolutionary technology to deliver an array of ingredients that improve the volume, shine, hydration, strength and color retention of damaged hair.
In clinical testing, Kronos was shown to boost hair volume and density by 96 percent, increase hydration by 91 percent, improve luster and bounce by 96 percent, reduce damage by 92 percent, improve strength by 96 percent and provide almost complete color retention after a month of washings.
To help introduce the new line, Kronos is letting customers try it free. The 4-piece starter kit includes Phyx Overnight Repair, which provides intensive renewal and repair for damaged hair while you sleep, plus Liquid Theory Detangler, which instantly conditions, detangles and smoothes hair for weightless body, bounce and shine, as well as shampoo and conditioner combo for daily care.
You could be wrinkle-free and still look older than your age if your hair isn't youthful too. Get your free sample of Kronos, "Botox for hair," at www.Kronos.com and get younger-looking hair.

Genuine Love
Genuine love, with all the discipline that it requires, is the only path in this life to substantial joy. Take another path and you may find rare moments of ecstatic joy, but they will be fleeting and progressively more elusive. When I genuinely love I am extending myself, and when I am extending myself I am growing. The more I love, the longer I love, the larger I become. Genuine love is self-replenishing. The more I nurture the spiritual growth of others, the more my own spiritual growth is nurtured. I am a totally selfish human being. I never do something for somebody else but that iI do it for myself. And as I grow through love, so grows my joy, ever more present, ever more constant.

We all live thinking we deserve to be happy, only thinking of our own happiness not knowing that by making others happy we transfer that energy within ourselves. Live to make others happy its more gratifying than doing it for ourselves (its better to give than to receive)
